Would be FAQ but I haven't been asked these questions frequently, so I didn't want to use a false qualifier. I am just honest like that...Also, it's just one question.
What are Whims and Whams?
This is from dictionary.com (I hate giving credit):
whim
1. an odd or capricious notion or desire; a sudden or freakish fancy: a sudden whim to take a midnight walk.
2. capricious humor: to be swayed by whim.
wham
1. a loud sound produced by an explosion or sharp impact: the wham of a pile driver.
2. a forcible impact.
PUT 'EM TOGETHER AND WHAT DO YOU GET?
whim-wham
1. any odd or fanciful object or thing; a gimcrack.
2. whim-whams, Informal . nervousness; jitters: He had the whim-whams after the accident.
And if you don't know what a gimcrack is, well...you're going to have to look that one up yourself.
